Glattbrugg ZH, December 2023

Glattbrugg ZH - Das 23.

The 23rd Economic Forum of the FRZ Zurich Airport Region – Business Network & Location Promotion(FRZ) on 28 November attracted more than 700 guests to the Salto tent in Kloten. The event focused on the tension between visions, reality and corporate purpose, explained the FRZ in a press release. Particular attention was paid to the topic of artificial intelligence.

The FRZ invited Thomas H. Zurbuchen, Head of ETH Zurich Space and former Director of Science at NASA, among others, to speak at the event. Lukas Eiselin, CEO of Meta-Design Switzerland, highlighted the importance and limits of a company’s purpose. The presentation by Pascal Kaufmann, founder of the Mindfire Group, was dedicated to the recruitment of talent for artificial intelligence.

The forum kicked off with the opening by FRZ President André Ingold and FRZ Managing Director Rahel Kindermann. Ernst Stocker, Member of the Government of the Canton of Zurich, answered questions from moderator Jennifer Bosshard. The programme was rounded off with an aperitif riche, a show and plenty of opportunity for networking.
