The electronics industry is meeting tomorrow

Tomorrow, Wednesday, ineltec 2026 opens its doors at Messe Zürich. For two days, it will serve as a compact gathering place for the Swiss electrical industry. 209 exhibitors will showcase how electrical engineering, energy, lighting, mobility, and digitalization are converging in buildings. The focus is on solutions that deliver rapid results in day-to-day project work.

ineltec begins on Wednesday, September 9, at 9 a.m. and runs through Thursday, September 10, 2026. It occupies four halls on two levels at Messe Zürich. Following its relaunch in 2024, the trade show continues to grow but retains its compact format.

Exhibitors and partners will present the latest innovations in electrical engineering, building automation, building energy, e-mobility, infrastructure, lighting, IT solutions, and tools. For planners, installation companies, building operators, and real estate professionals, the trade show thus brings together an industry whose intersections are growing more numerous every day.

Lighting Takes Center Stage
Hall 3 is dedicated to the topic of lighting. Around 30 exhibitors will showcase solutions in lighting design, installation, energy efficiency, and safety. In addition, experts from the fvb and SLG associations will share practical knowledge in ten short talks.

The event kicks off on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation on the planning and installation of emergency lighting. The topic highlights just how closely design, comfort, energy consumption, and safety are now intertwined in buildings.

Innovation in a Nutshell: “
” In Hall 5, 14 innovation pitches will bring new solutions and concrete applications to the stage. Each presentation lasts 30 minutes and covers digitalization, control systems, installation, and infrastructure. Electrosuisse will moderate the session.

Feller, Sonepar, and EIT.swiss will kick things off on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Their topic is efficiency and flexibility in planning, material procurement, and installation. It strikes a chord with the industry. Projects demand shorter response times, better data, and reliably coordinated material flows.

Young Talent Meets Practice
In Hall 6, EIT.swiss demonstrates that the energy transition is also a matter of skills development. The Mini-Arena covers legal services, support for the next generation, BIM2NPK, and offerings for members. A Speed Challenge and the WorldSkills live training session featuring the Swiss champion in electrical installation showcase professional expertise on-site.

New this year is the “Continuing Education Hub.” Educational institutions will provide information there about training and continuing education pathways. At the same time, twelve tours for young talent on both days of the trade show will guide around 300 apprentices to selected innovations and career profiles.

Preparation Saves Time
The trade show provides exhibitor profiles, products, and booth locations online. A hall map, wish list, and program registration help with preparation. A new AI chatbot helps visitors find suitable exhibitors and offerings in advance.
