Heerbrugg SG, October 2022

Leica Geosystems launches the Leica iCON gps 160. The new GNSS antenna is designed to meet the requirements of construction companies. Compared to the predecessor model Leica iCON gps 60, the range of applications has been increased and data reception improved.

Leica Geosystems introduces a new GNSS antenna to the market. The Leica iCON gps 160 can “withstand even the most difficult construction site conditions” and can be integrated with Leica iCON instruments used in construction, the St.GallenBodenseeArea company says in a statement. Compared to its predecessor, the Leica iCON gps 60, data reception has been improved and the range of applications expanded.

The “significantly improved SmartAntenna” has features “that increase productivity in all stakeout and measurement applications on the jobsite,” Leica Geosystems writes. The new model is also equipped with a color user interface. As an option, the Leica iCON gps 160 can be equipped with tilt compensation for measurements and stakeouts with an inclined pole, which is also available for other Leica Smart antennas.

Interested parties can take a closer look at the Leica iCON gps 160 at bauma, which runs until October 30 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München. Leica Geosystems will be present at the 33rd World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment in hall A2 at booth 137.
