According to a press release, Tiziana Ferigutti-Bonucelli is to succeed Robert Stadler as managing director and business development manager of WirtschaftsPortalOst. She will take up her new post at the beginning of August.

Ferigutti-Bonucelli, born in 1992, grew up in Hinterthurgau and has lived in Wil and the surrounding area for many years. She studied political science at the University of Zurich and the Università degli Studi di Firenze. She subsequently worked as managing director of the Thurgau Start-up Network and at the Thurgau Chamber of Commerce and Industry, most recently as deputy director for economic policy advocacy. She then worked in project and campaign management at the Ringier publication “Beobachter”.

The new managing director aims to further develop the WPO network, thereby helping to raise the region’s profile and further develop its strengths. “For me, the Wil region is a place where great potential, energy and commitment come together,” she is quoted as saying in the press release.

WPO was founded in 2018 as a regional business and economic organisation. The association aims to bring together the strengths of business and politics to create an attractive, future-oriented and competitive region in Wil in which to work and live. Robert Stadler has led WPO as managing director since its foundation. According to the press release, he is now focusing on new professional priorities.
