Partnership strengthens multifunctional innovation centre with leisure facilities
Halter and Padelta are entering into a long-term partnership as part of the FUTURAMA project. As part of this, two padel courts will be built on the ground floor of FUTURAMA in Lupfig, a centre for innovation and collaboration, by October.
Schlieren-based Halter AG and Padelta AG from Rothenburg have entered into a long-term partnership, according to a press release. The companies are cooperating as part of the FUTURAMA project, which will see the former Futura towers in Lupfig transformed into a multifunctional centre for innovation, technology, education, work, leisure and socialising. The partnership is intended to position the site as an “innovative hub with supra-regional appeal”, according to the Halter press release. The highlight of the collaboration will be two padel tennis courts on the ground floor of FUTURAMA.
The partnership is intended to establish the FUTURAMA as a lively and versatile venue thanks to its modern infrastructure. The two padel courts should be available for use from 1 October 2026. An automated infrastructure with digital booking and lighting control as well as digital access will enable uncomplicated use around the clock.
According to Halter, the partnership combines the expertise of both companies and creates a new meeting place for sport, exchange and innovation. “Padelta will create an attractive hotspot for the growing trend sport of padel,” Halter explains in the press release. “The collaboration between Halter and Padelta shows how sporting dynamism and future-oriented property development can be effectively combined,” it continues.
Padelta has been driving the development of padel in Switzerland for more than four years. According to the company, it is represented at eleven locations in German-speaking Switzerland and has the largest padel academy in the country, which specifically promotes both popular and competitive sport.
