The merger marks the next step in the company’s expansion into the Swiss market
With the acquisition of Bern-based Elektro ERTI AG, InstallerGroup Switzerland has expanded its presence beyond the greater Zurich area for the first time. Elektro ERTI AG will continue to operate under its existing name and will remain under the leadership of its founder, Ertugrul Kalmaz.
InstallerGroup Switzerland, a provider of multi-disciplinary building services, has completed the acquisition of Bern-based Elektro ERTI AG, according to a press release. With this transaction, InstallerGroup Switzerland now comprises five operating companies and is expanding its presence beyond the greater Zurich area for the first time.
Elektro ERTI AG specialises in electrical services in the Bern region, particularly in the B2B sector. With a broad customer base spanning property management, industry and commerce, as well as the public sector, the company generated turnover of around CHF 7 million in 2025. Following the acquisition, Elektro ERTI will continue to operate under its existing name. Founder Ertugrul Kalmaz will continue to lead the company alongside Marc Schaller and Süleyman Memis.
The merger is part of a long-term strategy, explains Boris Bischoff, CEO of InstallerGroup Switzerland: “With Elektro ERTI AG, we are welcoming an established company with a long-standing reputation for quality and reliability into our group. At the same time, this addition to the group marks the starting point of our expansion beyond the greater Zurich area.”
Joining InstallerGroup Switzerland also brings benefits for Elektro ERTI AG. The electrical services provider is thus expanding its customer base and network in German-speaking Switzerland and securing additional expertise in the B2B sector of specialised electrical services.
InstallerGroup is a provider of multi-disciplinary building services in Denmark and Switzerland. In total, the group comprises 47 companies, including five operating companies in Switzerland.
