New location combines logistics and production in one place

The Léguriviera Group is to consolidate its activities in the canton of Vaud at a new site in Vernand above Lausanne. The food logistics company aims to make its processes more efficient and reduce the number of transports. The 18,000 square metre site is scheduled to open in 2027.

Waadt, June 2026

The Léguriviera Groupe is planning to build a new site in Vernand above Lausanne. According to a press release, the project will cover an area of around 18,000 square metres. It will bring together the company’s business units currently located in Villars-Sainte-Croix, Aclens, Crissier, Yverdon-les-Bains and Romanel-sur-Morges.

The project provides for the logistical and operational functions to be brought together at a single site. It also includes training rooms and a production kitchen run by the company’s own chefs. The site is also designed to develop new offerings of fresh, raw and ready-to-use products as well as already cooked or semi-cooked products.

The company wants to simplify the organisation of the teams and improve the logistics processes between the sites and the handling of the 2,000 daily deliveries by optimising internal coordination between the various departments. “This project is more than just a building, it embodies a clear vision: that of an agile player that is rooted in its region and resolutely future-orientated,” the press release states. The site is scheduled to open around 2027.

Léguriviera Groupe, based in Vevey, is active in food distribution and related services. It primarily serves commercial customers, particularly in the catering and communal catering sectors.
