The Real Estate Award 2025 took place on October 2 at the stylish Trafo Baden and brought together around 250 guests from the Swiss real estate, construction and finance world. Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin opened the event with a concise and motivating welcome message. Another highlight was the fireside chat with Samih Sawiris, the internationally renowned entrepreneur and urban developer. Sawiris provided exclusive insights into the complex tasks and visions of his projects, particularly in the Alpine tourism center of Andermatt. Project development and innovation: Stiftung Umwelt Arena Spreitenbach was recognized for the development of a methanol hybrid box for summer electricity storage.
Real Estate Personality of the Year: Beatrice Bichsel, a leading strategic manager, received the crystal glass trophy for pioneering development at SBB and her commitment to modern urban development around railroad stations.
