The Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence Studies (IDSIA) is ranked among the best ten research institutes in the world in its branch, while the most powerful super-computer in Europe at the Swiss Center for Scientific Computing (CSCS) in Lugano and third in the world, it is capable of processing 20 million billion operations per second.
