Elle consiste &agrave; les imprimer directement sur une surface de verre &agrave; l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un laser femtoseconde ultra-rapide. Cette nouvelle technologie est translucide et ne n&eacute;cessite qu&rsquo;un seul mat&eacute;riau. Elle pourrait un jour &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute;e pour produire de l&rsquo;&eacute;nergie, peut-on lire dans un <a href=\"https:\/\/actu.epfl.ch\/news\/turning-glass-into-a-transparent-light-energy-harv\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">communiqu&eacute;<\/a> de l&rsquo;EPFL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Que se passe-t-il lorsque le verre tellurite est expos&eacute; &agrave; la lumi&egrave;re d&rsquo;un laser femtoseconde ? C&rsquo;est la question &agrave; laquelle G&ouml;zden Torun, du laboratoire Galatea de l&rsquo;EPFL, en collaboration avec des scientifiques de l&rsquo;universit&eacute; japonaise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.titech.ac.jp\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tokyo Tech<\/a>, a tent&eacute; de r&eacute;pondre dans sa th&egrave;se, en faisant une d&eacute;couverte qui pourrait un jour transformer des fen&ecirc;tres en capteurs de lumi&egrave;re constitu&eacute;s d&rsquo;un seul mat&eacute;riau, peut-on lire dans le communiqu&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">En &eacute;tudiant la fa&ccedil;on dont les atomes se r&eacute;arrangent dans le verre de tellurite lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont expos&eacute;s &agrave; des impulsions rapides de lumi&egrave;re laser femtoseconde de haute &eacute;nergie, les scientifiques ont d&eacute;couvert la formation de cristaux nanom&eacute;triques de tellure et d&rsquo;oxyde de tellure, deux mat&eacute;riaux semi-conducteurs grav&eacute;s dans le verre &agrave; l&rsquo;endroit m&ecirc;me o&ugrave; le verre avait &eacute;t&eacute; expos&eacute;.
