La chaleur r\u00e9siduelle des \u00e9quipements de ventilation et de laboratoire doit \u00eatre stock\u00e9e dans le sol sous la zone. L&rsquo;objectif est d&rsquo;alimenter en \u00e9nergie tout le territoire de l&rsquo;Empa, \u00e9crit l&rsquo;Empa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> Un champ de sondes g\u00e9othermiques \u00e0 gradient de temp\u00e9rature sert de r\u00e9servoir de chaleur, dans lequel sont install\u00e9es 144 sondes g\u00e9othermiques ancr\u00e9es jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres de profondeur dans le sol. Avec leur aide, les chercheurs de l&rsquo;Empa veulent \u00e9tablir un mix optimal entre temp\u00e9rature, efficacit\u00e9 et stockage d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Les temp\u00e9ratures dans le stockage souterrain peuvent fluctuer jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 50 degr\u00e9s au centre et 10 degr\u00e9s dans les zones p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques. \u00c0 100 m\u00e8tres de profondeur, le syst\u00e8me de stockage fonctionne de mani\u00e8re particuli\u00e8rement efficace et perd tr\u00e8s peu de chaleur dans l&rsquo;environnement, explique l&rsquo;Empa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> L&rsquo;institut de recherche peut utiliser le syst\u00e8me de stockage de chaleur pendant dix ans, principalement \u00e0 des fins de recherche.
