Plans call for 8,000 solar modules on the roofs of the logistics hall and the CNC joinery center. Together, they will generate an output of 3.092 megawatts, the Aargauer Holzwerk informed in a statement. Ampere Dynamic has been entrusted with the design, planning and implementation of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Balteschwiler expects to produce 3.03 gigawatt hours of solar power annually. &#8220;Our company will achieve a degree of self-sufficiency of approximately 170 percent with the installation of the systems,&#8221; company CEO J\u00f6rg Langheim was quoted as saying in the release. &#8220;This enables us to supply up to 300 additional households with renewable electricity each year and thus make a not inconsiderable contribution to the energy transition.&#8221; As a woodworking and wood processing company, the family-owned company feels &#8220;particularly committed to sustainability,&#8221; Langheim explained.<\/p>\n<p>Installation of the plant is to begin this month, with completion scheduled for November of this year.
