The Gotthard is a myth, a landmark known throughout Europe, which has been presenting people with supposedly insurmountable challenges for centuries, but which has also driven entire generations to new peak performances. The Gotthard still spurs us on today, not only promoting innovation, but actually demanding it. The name Gotthard radiates north and south, but also beyond our national borders and stands like no other name for durability, robustness, pioneering spirit, innovation and engineering. The brand name Innovationspark Gotthard stands for the symbiosis of stability, durability and strength with creativity, optimism, closeness to nature, community and openness.

New talents want a place of work with prospects for the future, but also base their choice of location on soft factors and look for a top environment for their family, leisure time and relaxation. Regions outside the major centers are establishing themselves as attractive alternatives thanks to a favorable cost environment (taxes, energy, real estate prices). The Canton of Uri is predestined to develop such a living environment and to become attractive for those who have “arrived”.

The Gotthard Innovation Park offers an inspiring environment for the knowledge- and innovation-oriented further development of products and services for companies in “outdoor technology” or in the “nature, energy and innovation” sectors.

It focuses on companies that want to offer their talents (Gen Y, Gen Z) living and flexible working in an intact environment with a wide range of sports and cultural activities “on their doorstep”.
