According to a press release<\/a> , Holcim<\/a> is taking over the Izolbet<\/a> company, which is headquartered in the Polish city of Gostynin. This offers special construction solutions and has four production sites in Poland. Over the past three years, Izolbet has reportedly achieved double-digit growth in revenue and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBIDTA).<\/p>\n

With the takeover, the Zug-based cement group intends to strengthen its presence in the areas of renovation and thermal insulation, among other things. The acquisition also complements Holcim’s recent investment in a new dry mortar production facility in Krak\u00f3w.<\/p>\n
