The portfolio of RAD Technology Medical Systems will be<\/a> expanded to include three different building configurations for radiation therapy with linear accelerators (Linacs for short) in 2021. According to a media release,<\/a> this should enable hospitals and cancer centers to set up stations with the latest models for electron and photon irradiation in less than a month.<\/p>\n

The modular design and the patented granulate shielding system of the Florida and Lugano-based company made it possible to assemble the bunker within just a few days. The modules allowed a variety of building configurations, from a temporary additional bunker for radiation therapy to a complete and permanent facility for radiation therapy.<\/p>\n
