BRUGG Pipes<\/a> from Kleindöttingen, part of the Brugg-based BRUGG Group AG<\/a>, has supplied its newly developed ARMOPEX<\/a> flexible pipe system to Olomouc Zoo<\/a>. The pipe system will be used to supply heat to the new Loděnka Education Centre, which has been under construction since March. According to a press release, the education centre will offer a new exhibition and learning facility and house the largest deep-sea aquarium for sharks in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n

The Loděnka Education Centre will strengthen Olomouc Zoo’s educational offering with an auditorium, two classrooms and the new deep-sea aquarium. The ARMOPEX pipe system ensures the heat supply to the aquarium building by connecting the new building with the existing heating station on the zoo grounds. The installation was completed within three days and comprises a total of 560 metres of BRUGG Pipes ARMOPEX 63\/126 and was realised by BRUGG Pipes partner PEZ Pipes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I am delighted that our new ARMOPEX pipe system is being used in such a special project,” said Martin Rigaud, CEO of BRUGG Pipes, in the press release. “The use in Olomouc Zoo impressively demonstrates the advantages of the system: high safety, simple installation and great flexibility for demanding pipe routes.”<\/p>\n
