According to a press release<\/a>, Tiziana Ferigutti-Bonucelli is to succeed Robert Stadler as managing director and business development manager of WirtschaftsPortalOst<\/a>. She will take up her new post at the beginning of August.<\/p>\n

Ferigutti-Bonucelli, born in 1992, grew up in Hinterthurgau and has lived in Wil and the surrounding area for many years. She studied political science at the University of Zurich<\/a> and the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Firenze<\/a>. She subsequently worked as managing director of the Thurgau Start-up Network and at the Thurgau Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/a>, most recently as deputy director for economic policy advocacy. She then worked in project and campaign management at the Ringier publication <\/a>\u201cBeobachter<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The new managing director aims to further develop the WPO network, thereby helping to raise the region\u2019s profile and further develop its strengths. \u201cFor me, the Wil region is a place where great potential, energy and commitment come together,\u201d she is quoted as saying in the press release.<\/p>\n

WPO was founded in 2018 as a regional business and economic organisation. The association aims to bring together the strengths of business and politics to create an attractive, future-oriented and competitive region in Wil in which to work and live. Robert Stadler has led WPO as managing director since its foundation.
