Pensimo Management AG<\/a> is an independent centre of expertise for Swiss pension funds that invests in property. To this end, it manages a total of four property investment trusts that invest pension fund assets in property. According to a press release<\/a>, Pensimo distributed over 328 million Swiss francs to pension funds as investors in the 2025 financial year. The Swissinvest Real Estate<\/span> Fund, which also belongs to Pensimo, distributed CHF 26 million to its unit holders. According to the press release, the profits benefit insured employees in terms of occupational pension provision.<\/p>\n

Pensimo Management AG also increased its assets under management to a total of CHF 15.7 billion in 2025. Around 70 per cent of the assets are invested in residential properties. In Switzerland, Pensimo manages a total of 580 properties comprising 18,820 apartments and 615,000 square metres of commercial space.<\/p>\n

Despite rising total assets, Pensimo was able to reduce its greenhouse gas intensity by 28 per cent between 2021 and 2024, according to the statement. The company’s goal remains to achieve net-zero by 2050. To this end, fossil fuel heating systems are being phased out and photovoltaic installations are being continuously expanded. Pensimo also aims to further reduce CO2 emissions by largely avoiding the construction of replacement buildings. According to the press release, in 105 renovation<\/span> projects between 2013 and 2023, 94 per cent of the flats were retained, with only 6 per cent being demolished.<\/p>\n

Pensimo also continues to act sustainably in social terms, as stated in the press release. According to the new SOSDA benchmark, which assesses the social sustainability of residential property portfolios, 75 per cent of Pensimo’s flats remain affordable for middle-income households.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
