According to a press release<\/a>, INDUNI & CIE AG<\/a> has developed solutions to promote the reuse of reinforced concrete from existing buildings. The three-stage approach covers the demolition, transport and storage of materials before reconstruction begins.<\/p>\n

In the first stage, concrete elements are crushed during the demolition of buildings in such a way that they are already suitable for later reuse. The parts are then transported to various storage sites in the Lake Geneva region using the company\u2019s own logistics. Finally, the concrete elements are integrated into new projects by the company\u2019s structural and civil engineering teams.<\/p>\n

INDUNI is also supporting Mat\u00e9riuum\u2019s<\/a> 10th anniversary. The Geneva-based association for the protection of natural resources helps to \u201cpromote the reuse of building materials\u201d and \u201csupport the transition to a circular economy\u201d, writes INDUNI in a further statement<\/a>. The company thus makes it clear that it intends to \u201ccontinue its commitment to more responsible and circular construction\u201d.<\/p>\n
