Sika<\/a> has acquired Chema<\/a> in Peru, a manufacturer of products for tile laying. With this acquisition, the Baar-based speciality chemicals company is expanding its distribution channels in the Peruvian mortar market and expanding its production in the area of building finishing, according to a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The acquisition opens up additional distribution channels and complementary production sites for Sika. This is associated with important opportunities for cross-selling with complementary products such as sealants, adhesives and liquid membranes. “The expanded product offering and geographic footprint will allow us to better serve new and existing customers across the country with complete solutions,” said Mike Campion, Regional Head Americas.<\/p>\n
