ABB<\/a> chargers ensure the charging capacity for up to 120,000 vehicles in an e-car factory owned by the Chinese Dongfeng Motor Group<\/a> and the Japanese Honda Motor Company<\/a> . Dongfeng Honda<\/a> will use it to equip the assembly and test lines in its more than 980,000 square meter plant in Wuhan.<\/p>\n

As the company writes in a press release<\/a> , Dongfeng Honda has selected a range of different chargers “based on its previous positive experience with low and medium voltage products from ABB”.<\/p>\n

As part of its industrial development plan for energy-efficient and new-energy vehicles by 2035, China expects that one in four new vehicles sold in the country will be an electric car by 2025. More than 64 million are expected to be on Chinese roads by 2030.<\/p>\n
