The BâleHotels<\/a> group, which belongs to Coop, is opening a 4-star boutique hotel in the middle of Basel's old town. The Hotel Märthof<\/a> will open its doors on July 28, 2021. The renovation<\/span> of the historic building began in 2019. Its neo-baroque facade will be preserved and will be combined with generous window fronts, according to a message<\/a> from Coop<\/a> . From 1983 a department store was housed in the complex.<\/p>\n

In the Märthof there will be space for 68 high-quality rooms as well as the Bohemia restaurant with a spacious bar and a terrace directly on the market square. The hotel also has a fitness and wellness area, a banquet room and a roof terrace.<\/p>\n
