The symbolic construction work for the expansion of the research campus by Empa<\/a> and Eawag<\/a> in Dübendorf began on Wednesday. The groundbreaking ceremony gave the go-ahead for a new laboratory building. In addition, a multifunctional building and a multi-storey car park are planned on the 20,000 square meter site.
